Q: Who was St. Columba? A: He was an Irish saint who sailed from Ireland to Scotland where he travelled widely, converting the Scots to Christianity. He eventually established a monastery on the remote Scottish Island of Iona from where his monks engaged in their mission to preach and teach the Gospel. Click here to read more.
Q: How Scottish is the Scottish Church?
A: Despite its name, St. Columba’s Church of Scotland is very much an international church. The only continent from which we currently haven’t got any regular visitors is Antarctica. So wherever you are from, you are most welcome!
